About BanksGiving

The BanksGiving Company (“BanksGiving”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in the Greater Philadelphia region dedicated to addressing the lack of financial education programming. Founded in 2016 by community leader and financial analyst Chris Banks, BanksGiving aims to work alongside youth in urban areas to increase financial literacy to build strong urban communities. BanksGiving provides programming designed to help kids learn about financial literacy while providing a hands-on and interactive approach to building their financial literacy skills.

Mission Statement

The mission of BanksGiving is to strengthen and empower the youth of Philadelphia to live a financially secured life by providing them with quality and comprehensive financial literacy programs and access to financial resources. By partnering with industry professionals and the greater community, we hope to equip our community with the skills, information, and services needed to live a financially secure life.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to create a new Philadelphia where every resident is financially equipped with requisite financial skills, information and tools to live a financially secured life and above the national poverty level.
